Christa and Nate were our final wedding couple for 2025, and we closed the year out in style! I’m thrilled to be sharing the highlights on the blog today!

The Couple

From the couple: “We met through our mutual friends, Brian and Libby Taylor, at the Frederick High Wheel Race in 2023. Although we had crossed paths a few times before, that day the penny-farthing cycles weren’t the only things catching our attention. The High Wheel Race always seems to fall on the hottest weekend of July and to cool off we went swimming at Brian and Libby’s house where we really connected. Christa asked Nate several questions in a row, followed up with “Want to see how far I can swim under water?” and before he could respond she dipped underwater, pushed off the wall.

“We had our first date at Isabellas and ended up walking around Baker Park for hours just talking. One thing led to another, and we started officially dating in mid-August. Being in our mid 30’s we knew what we wanted in partners and didn’t waste any time getting to know one another. Labor Day, we went to her brothers in NJ for the weekend, early November we went to Iceland for a week, Christa met the Walker family for Nate’s grandmothers 90th birthday, and he met her family for Thanksgiving.

“October 24th, 2024, Nate proposed to Christa on the Baker Parker Bridge where we spent time having meaningful conversations on our first date.”

The Wedding

Christa and Nate’s wedding was the perfect way to round out an incredible year. They really planned an amazing experience for their friends and family. From the double decker bus taking guests from ceremony to reception, to the gorgeous reception and Dan McGuire Group killing it at the party – it was an incredible night.
