Weddings

This weekend we finally came out of our winter off-season hibernation, and I could not have picked a better wedding to kick off our 2026 season than Annie and Danny’s. I couldn’t adore these people more if I tried. Everything about this wedding day was perfect – the people, the vibes, the DRESS, all of it. I’m thrilled to share highlights on the blog today!

The Couple

From the couple: “We met in the narrow window when Danny was between San Francisco and DC, an intended 3-month stint in Baltimore turned into 4 years, a dog, a house, and a wonderful life together. We started with almost no comprehension of what the other does for work and very little overlap in our concept of play. Annie still doesn’t know what or why the cloud is and Danny isn’t down with the central dogma, but our life outside of work has merged over countless bike rides, dog walks, meandering talks, galleries, gardens, and games. Love has fused our passions and fixations. Catch us screaming in unison about micromobility, pedestrian rights (and wrongs), the hallmarks of fascism, the importance of plants, and the preeminence of Baltimore, Patterson Park, crusty white dogs, Spiderman, and Paris.”

The Wedding

Annie and Danny are so special and I’m so honored they chose us to capture their day. Their wedding embodied everything we love about photographing weddings – people so well suited for each other and deeply in love, surrounded by the BEST family and friends, everyone completely in the moment living their best life, completely emotionally engaged. It was a joy to capture every moment.

I started the day off with Annie and her closest people at Hotel Ulysses, and Jim met Dan at their home. I love that both their cat AND dog made it into this post! The flower girl, Annie’s niece, stole the show in the morning. However, once Annie was in her stunning dress it was all eyes on her the rest of the day. After their very touching first look at The Walters Art Museum, we took portraits amongst the art and I’m obsessed with how those turned out. And then it was off to the Belvedere for a few more photos, family portraits, and time to get married!

I am so thrilled with how these turned out and I’m excited to share the highlights on the blog today. Congratulations to Annie and Danny, we adore you!
