Mollie and Tom’s wedding on Sunday was so special. Their friends and family made it feel like such a warm and wonderful experience, and I’m honored we got to be the ones to capture it.
The Couple
From the couple: “We met on Bumble. We chatted on the app for a while before our first date at a bar. Tom thought Mollie was not interested until she suggested a second date. After the second and third date of ice skating and bocce respectively, we shared our first kiss. We said “I love you” (Mollie said it first) on the National Harbor ferris wheel. A little more than a year later, Tom surprised Mollie with a proposal in front of that same ferris wheel just before Thanksgiving so that Mollie could show off the ring to family coming to visit. Since then we have bought a house and are beginning the next chapter in our love story. We are greatly looking forward to celebrating our wedding with family and friends.”
The Wedding
I lost track of how many times I cried at Tom and Mollie’s wedding, but some of the highlights are: during their vows, during the ketubah signing when their rabbi had their friends and family write notes to them on the back of the ketubah for “hard days”, during Tom’s dance with his ‘special ladies’, during Mollie’s dance with her mom, during Defying Gravity and Seasons of Love on the dance floor… it was a lot of tears, guys.
Mollie and Tom are kind, warm, wonderful people, and it’s no surprise that their friends and family are too. This was a wonderful day and we loved being a part of it so much. Here are just some of the highlights.
