Steve + Jess | Druid Hill Park + Blue Pit BBQ | Baltimore Engagement Photos

Jess and Steve’s session was so much fun and I’m so pumped to be sharing it on the blog today. I’ve known Steve since college, and Jess and I have such intertwined lives, it’s crazy that I first met her when she was a bridesmaid in a wedding I photographed almost five years ago. We have buckets of mutual friends, we overlapped at Towson both in major and while working video for the sporting events… it was only a matter of time that our paths would cross.

For their session, Steve and Jess wanted to start at Druid Hill Park to get some shots overlooking the city from one of their favorite vantage points. After shooting there freezing our butts off for a bit (and yet it looks delightfully springy, you’d never know!) we headed over to Blue Pit Grill for dinner and to finish up the session. Their pup Bodhi joined us for a bit (and was terrified of our light) and then we got some awesome food and photographed a bit more. Blue Pit is going to be catering their wedding and we could not be more excited! Here are just a few of my favorite photos from our time together.
