Natalie + Mike | Wedding at the Belvedere | Baltimore, MD

Weddings

Natalie and Mike were married this past Saturday at the Belvedere in Baltimore and it couldn’t have been a more perfect day to celebrate these two amazing humans!

The Couple

From the couple: “Natalie and Mike were next door neighbors in the dorm freshman year at the University of Delaware. Mike wooed Natalie with his guitar playing and Justin Bieber haircut. After many dates in the dining hall, Mike finally asked Natalie out for a real dinner on the “main street” on campus. The rest is history! …just kidding. After college, Natalie and Mike can thank Skype for keeping their long distance relationship strong while Natalie got her graduate degree in speech-language pathology in D.C. and Mike began his career at JP Morgan in Wilmington, Delaware. Then, Mike decided to go to graduate business school, so they moved down to Charlottesville, Virginia. After a year living together, (and about 8 years dating), Mike proposed to Natalie in Philadelphia behind the Philadelphia Art Museum in July 2017. Natalie had a feeling something was happening when Mike put on a button down on a 90 degree day; however, Mike played it cool all day and took his time having brunch and walking through the entire museum before getting on one knee. Mike and Natalie decided to consolidate many major life events into the summer 2018. Following Mike’s graduation in May, Mike and Natalie plan to move up to Baltimore, get married, have a honeymoon, and start new careers! They are excited to begin their new chapter together in CHARM CITY!”

The Wedding

Natalie and Mike’s wedding was filled with so much love, laughter, and happy tears. Their families are so sweet and warm, and Mike’s sister’s speech even brought our team to tears. The dance party was easily one of the best of the year so far- thanks to Rhythm 6 bringing their A game! Unfortunately I got food poisoning on Saturday and had to leave a little bit into the wedding, but thankfully Natalie was so sweet and understanding, and I had an amazing team there with me to capture everything. Tommy and Katie stepped up and did such a beautiful job capturing the day for Natalie and Mike! Katie has such an incredible eye for beautiful romantic portraits and nuanced moments, and Tommy can capture the energy of a party like no one else. I couldn’t imagine two better people to fill in as surrogates and capture such a special day for an amazing couple. Here are just a few of my favorites!
