Rich and Megan‘s Liriodendron Mansion Wedding was a dream come true!
The Couple
From the Bride: “Rich and I met April 2017. He was new to Maryland and I was in nursing school. We both decided to try a dating app called Bumble. A swipe to the right led to our first date lol, and here we are three years later. We got engaged April 2019 at Longwood Gardens.”
The Wedding
Like so many of this year’s couples, Rich and Megan had to reimagine their wedding day – and fast. We were all set to move forward as planned with their wedding on September 26th at 1840s Ballroom… until the Mayor of Baltimore banned all gatherings over 25 people within city limits. At the time the rest of the state seemed to be opening more, the city locked everything back down.
So with very little notice, they pivoted. Luckily the Liriodendron Mansion in Harford County was available the Sunday of their original wedding weekend for a covid-friendly outdoor wedding. And man, this backup plan was everything. There was this gorgeous fog when we arrived that gave an extra romance to the lush greenery surrounding the mansion. This place is absolutely gorgeous and couldn’t have been a better fit. It was such an honor to be a part of their big day and capture it all. Only one day late, and not an ounce of love sacrificed.
