June 15, 2012 Macro Photography!
The last time I got to play around with a macro lens was when I rented one for Ryan & Sameeha’s wedding back in September. I only used it for the ring shots in their wedding and didn’t really get a chance to use them for anything else. The lenses arrived for tomorrow’s wedding so tonight I figured it would be fun to go out and play around in the yard with the new macro lens and get some shots of my engagement ring (what can I say, Steve did a good job! I look at it all the time and I love to photograph it ;)) along with whatever insects I could find.
Here are some of my favorites from my few minutes outside tonight. I LOVE the praying mantis one. I got several shots of him before this one but when he turned to look at me it just made the perfect image!
