Just a couple short months ago I blogged my session with the Maskell family prior to Alex’s arrival. This is one of the sweetest families I’ve ever had the opportunity to work with and I was so excited for Baby Alex’s arrival.

First we got photos of the full family. Benny is such a sweet big brother.

While Mommy was feeding Alex, Daddy and Benny got some reading in. This is Benny’s favorite book.

This is his “snort” face.

Mommy and Baby Alex came back and we got this lovely family portrait :)

Benny went down for his nap and the rest of the session focused on Baby Alex. Such a cutie. I love a Mama’s love.

Daddy got some one-on-one time with the little fella too!

I photographed his nursery a bit as we waited for the little bug to get sleepy.

Didn’t happen. I still love his little wide awake face!

After 2 hours and many attempts to get him to sleep, we still failed, but at least his eyes were closed in these to give the illusion of a sleeping baby.

Catie, Scott, Benny and Alex: Thank you so much for inviting me into your lives during such a special time. You are the best and I can’t wait to watch your beautiful family grow over the years!

    I love that most of the session took place in bed :D I also love the lil smile in the last one! Love the blanket color, too!
