This Saturday I found myself back at Linganore Winecellars, where I was just two weeks prior for Alice and Chad’s Wedding. Ashley and Nelson had the perfect day, filled with tons of emotion and happiness and it’s very easily one of my favorite weddings to date. There’s so much to love! This post is VERY lengthy with lots of photos- so bear with me :)

This time Jen got the scenics while I was with the bride getting details and getting ready shots. Such a gorgeous venue with amazing views!

Ashley’s dress is absolutely stunning. I love all of the detail!

I am also completely obsessed with her bouquet– It was absolutely beautiful! The colors and textures are truly stunning. She also had the lace from her mother’s dress wrapped around the bouquet. I love it when couples incorporate meaningful pieces into their wedding.

You may remember from their engagement session that I am obsessed with her ring. Combine that obsession with the obsession with their bouquet and you get a lot of ring shots ;)

Before Ashley got ready she read a card that Nelson had written to her… and managed not to cry! Go Ashley! :)

Before entering the ceremony, Ashley chose to do a first look with her dad. I love special moments like this. Gary is such a proud father, it makes my heart swell.

And it was time to get married!

After the ceremony we headed out to the field for bridal party and family portraits. The staff at Linganore then flipped the room so they could have the reception in the same spot!

I love it when the bridal party is so enthusiastic! The last few have been amazing… maybe I should have a competition ;)

Then we had some time for portraits of the lovely couple. Ashley was such a stunning bride!

…and Nelson was quite the handsome groom!

I just love this view. I could shoot here every day and never get tired of it. Put a gorgeous couple totally in love in the frame and it’s just perfection.

The set up inside for the reception was very classy and elegant. I love how beautiful their cake was!

The couple entered the reception and headed straight into their first dance, which was very sweet and romantic.

This was the first of many times that Nelson picked up his bride that night… as you will see :)

Nelson’s brother Brad gave a very emotional speech that brought the whole room to tears, myself included. He spoke of how lucky he was to now be able to call Ashley and her family his family and how Nelson was the perfect role model for him growing up and especially today.

Stephanie, Ashley’s best friend and Maid of Honor also had a sweet -and- funny speech. There was lots of laughter, and even some tears. Ashley stood with her best friend as she got through the end of her speech.

To finish off the speeches, Ashley’s father brought us all to tears again by saying just how proud he is of the woman that his daughter has become and how he couldn’t be happier with the person she chose to marry.

Just after dinner we went outside again for sunset shots and well… I’ll just let them speak for themselves.

Yeah… so that happened. Amazing.

Moving on. When we got back inside, the party was kicked off by Ashley and her dad’s father-daughter dance. The song was a surprise to her. It was Guns and Roses Sweet Child O’ Mine! :)

Nelson then had a very sweet dance with his lovely momma Bonnie.

Haha I just love this shot, Ashley and Amaya are dancing sweetly in the foreground and Nelson is doing… whatever that is… in the background ;)

I’m not exactly sure what happened here, but it was awesome.

Ashley and Nelson — Thank you SO much for having me be a part of your wedding day. You are such an amazing couple and it’s been a blast getting to know you! Your wedding day was the perfect reflection of your relationship and couldn’t have been more beautiful! I hope Jamaica is amazing and I can’t wait to talk to you when you get back!
