September 16, 2013 Molly + Mike | Silver Swan Bayside Wedding
Two Sundays ago I had the pleasure of second shooting alongside Dana Cubbage in Kent Island for Molly and Mike’s gorgeous bayside wedding. It was a gorgeous day filled with lots of love and laughter and I’m so happy I was able to be a part of it! Included in the post are some of my favorites that I captured throughout the day. If you’d like to see more, check out Dana’s blog post of the wedding including both of our images here.
Dana and I started off the day at the Hilton Garden Inn just over the Bay Bridge with Molly and her ladies for the bridal prep.
I may have had a little too much fun with my macro lens and their rings. Aw, who am I kidding? You can never have too much fun getting ring shots ;)
I love the engravings on their rings! They got each other’s rings engraved as a surprise to the other. When Molly got her ring and saw “THOL” it took her a while to figure out what it meant: Two hearts, one love.
I love her shoes! Casey had the same ones early this year :)
Molly and Mike chose to have a first look on the docks at their venue. I loved how beautiful and emotional first looks can be, as well as how relaxed it makes the rest of the day!
Instead of splitting up the bridal party, Dana had me get some side angles and candids during the bridal party portraits. I loved the challenge to keep an eye out for the great moments that happened naturally.
While Dana was doing the posed bridal party portraits I headed inside to get detail shots of the venue. Such a beautiful set up!
They had a gorgeous ceremony officiated by Molly’s stepfather on the water with the sun setting in the background. It was beautiful.
They read their promises to each other, which had everyone laughing.
Dana, thanks so much for having me along! I loved meeting Molly and Mike and working with you was a blast!
