I was really looking forward to this engagement session. We were rained out the week before which was not at all fun but I knew it would be well worth the wait and I was absolutely right. It’s crazy how many ties I have to this couple and didn’t even know it. There are so many random friends that we have in common and yet we never had met previously, plus these two are friends with at least four couples that I’ve worked with in the last year.
When planning their engagement session these two wanted to reflect not only their love for each other but their love for their city. I’m going to go ahead and say “Mission Accomplished”. It was an amazing session and I am so excited to share these today!
How cute are these two? They made my job easy.
They got engaged in Fells Point and it was such a great location to start off their gorgeous session!
Chelsea is so pretty!
You two could be models.
I had a *wee* bit too much fun with silhouettes for this session.
After spending the first part of our evening in Fells Point we headed to Federal Hill to get some of the iconic Baltimore shots with the skyline.
I love Chelsea’s ring! So pretty.
The sun started setting fast but these next several night shots are some of my new all time favorites. I’m so glad these two were up for continuing after the sun was long gone!
This is the only time I’ve ever been down at AVAM without any cars parked in this area. I was very excited that I could get this shot without any cars!
We were ready to call it a night but when we got up to Federal Hill Park where our cars were parked, I decided we should just get a couple more now that the skyline was all lit up.
Totally worth it.
Chelsea and Pete,
Thanks so much for being troopers and hanging out with me this weekend! I love that you were up for anything and let me try some new stuff. It was a blast and I can’t wait for your wedding!
xoxo,
Brea

Girl, you ROCKED those nightime portraits!!! :)
LOVE these night time shots. Well, the whole session rocks, but the night time stuff was totally worth going for a few more!

Awesome session! I love the one where they changed outfits and her hand is on his chest with the city in the backdrop! I also love your off camera lighting ones, too! Those always make me really happy. haha!! :D
wow – you rocked those night shots! And I can’t believe there were no cars in front of the AVAM! lucky you!! that shot is perfect!
GORGEOUS session! I adore the photo infront of the “Love” neon lights!!
Gorgeous, as I knew they would be. Chelsea’s beautiful nature shines through in every shot. (And their love is clear!) I am thrilled for them both. You did a great job capturing it all Brea. Love the night time shots too. My favorite is probably the second to last.
I love the variations of light in this shoot! From blowy evening light to city illuminating light! SO COOL. Those night time portraits are AMAZING!
