The last few weeks have been so exciting as the 2013 wedding season has come to a close and the awards for the year have been issued! I’m so excited to be able to share this post – I’m so honored that BOTH of these happened in my first year working full time for myself!

First, I am honored to say that I received the 2014 WeddingWire Couple’s Choice Award. Thanks to the reviews from my amazing couples this last year, I was chosen as one of the top 5% wedding vendors in the country! Pretty exciting!

Second, and possibly even more exciting is that this year I’m a finalist in the Chesapeake Bridal Awards! We have SO many talented vendors in this area and I was among the top 10 for the Best Photographer category. It’s a huge honor and I’m so excited to have gotten this far. But it’s not over yet! Now that the nominations round is over we’re on to the actual voting stage. Voting takes place on Facebook at the Bayside Bride and Charm City Wed Facebook pages. You can submit your ballot once each at both pages, so you can vote twice! I appreciate every single vote and hope we can win this thing! 2013 was an incredible year for me and my business. I worked with so many amazing people, many of whom I can now call friends. It was a huge year for both personal and professional growth and this is helping to make it even sweeter!
