Remember Kristen and Joe’s Hampden 34th Street Engagement Session? Well that was just part one! This weekend we met for part two and it was freezing but so fun! We met at Federal Hill, headed down to AVAM for a few and then back up to Federal Hill. The sun didn’t quite set fast enough for us so I kind of “faked” our night shots. It was a fun challenge! I have some side by sides to come where I exposed the sky differently, making the photos look like they were taken at different times of day, but really they were seconds apart.

Kristen and Joe are so cute and sweet. I’m so excited to work with them for their wedding this October. It’ll also be nice to see them without temperatures below freezing :)

Check out the Harbor – it was frozen! That just tells you how cold it was outside. Troopers.I just love the way Joe looks at Kristen.  I have had a Lensbaby for a while now and have never used it for any of my weddings or sessions. It was fun to pull it out for a few shots! Not something I’ll use all the time but it’s definitely a fun effect. These two shots were taken a few minutes apart. It wasn’t as dark as it seems.  These next three photos were taken in succession, no more than a few seconds apart each. Crazy right? It’s so fun how manipulating light and ISO can create a completely different look. Which of the three is your favorite? I think mine is the first.
