Nancy + Scott | Maternity

April 14, 2014 Nancy + Scott | Maternity

I’ve known Scott for what feels like forever. I met him on one of my very first video freelance gigs about ten years ago, and I’m sure my husband Steve has known him even longer than that. His relationship with Nancy has also followed a very similar timeline to mine with Steve (minus the whole baby part of course :)). They started dating the same year, got engaged the same year, and got married exactly one month after we did! I was so excited when I heard the news that they were expecting a baby, and even more excited when they asked me to take some maternity photos for them, capturing the excitement and anticipation as they wait for Baby N’s arrival.

We met on Thursday at Clipper Mill, which made an amazing backdrop for their session! I loved walking around with these two and catching up. I also thought that it was really cool that they aren’t planning on learning the gender of Baby N or naming baby until he or she makes their debut! I think the mystery adds to the excitement, and that’s pretty darn cool :) 2014-04-11_00102014-04-11_00112014-04-11_00122014-04-11_00132014-04-11_00142014-04-11_00152014-04-11_00162014-04-11_00172014-04-11_00182014-04-11_00192014-04-11_00202014-04-11_00212014-04-11_00222014-04-11_00232014-04-11_00242014-04-11_0025

When my wife Nancy mentioned that she wanted some maternity photos the first & only person I thought of was the talented Brea. We got married out of town & used a local photographer so we waited for the next great occasion to use Brea. Knowing her awesome skills a great eye we gave her a call.

She quickly made us feel at ease and the session flew by. Looking at the results I can honestly say we made the right choice and love the results.

    Go Brea
