Stephanie and Tony’s wedding day was one of my favorite wedding days of all time. You may remember these two from their John Carroll School engagement session, they met in high school and are finally married 9 years later! I can’t even properly express how FUN their party was! There was even a mini dance set as soon as they finished their first dance, getting everyone on the dance floor and setting the tone for the rest of the evening! Everything was absolutely perfect for these high school sweethearts and I’m so happy I was able to be a part of their big day :)
When I got to Stephanie’s parents’ home and saw the room that she was getting ready in I was in heaven. Perfect natural light, a beautiful soft blue color on the walls, clean wood floors. Ahhh… couldn’t have asked for a better room!
How gorgeous is Stephanie’s dress? My jaw dropped when I walked into the room and saw it hanging. It’s even more beautiful on her!
My theme for that morning was definitely mirrors. Lots of reflections here, and I LOVE it!
Ahh! How gorgeous is Stephanie!?
Then it was off to the church to get married! Tony and Stephanie were wed at Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Essex, Maryland.
I loved Tony’s reaction just before his bride came through the doors, and his first time seeing Stephanie. He makes the best faces in general, but this was awesome!
These photos of the groomsmen were actually taken before the ceremony at the church by Jen, my second shooter for the day, Thanks Jen!
The rest of these were done at Turf Valley. Such a lovely group of ladies!
I’m seriously in awe at how awesome this photo is. Best faces ever.
As for their portraits? I don’t even have the words. These two are just so sweet and so photogenic. They were naturals at their engagement session and even more so on the wedding day. They made my job easy, even with limited time!
LOVEEEEE
Definitely a favorite.
This too. Seriously, just so good. You guys are so good!
Steph has the most beautiful blue eyes.
The Waterford Ballroom at Turf Valley was absolutely stunning with amazing florals from Ann’s Garden!
Their reception was SO much fun! There were very sweet moments, including the anniversary dance that left me with tears streaming down my face, and crazy high energy from the very first moment. This was my first time seeing a mini dance set immediately after the first dance, and it set the tone for the rest of the evening!
Before the night was over, I took the newlyweds out for some night shots, and as always, these ended up being some of my favorites from the day!
Stephanie and Tony,
I’m so glad you guys chose me to be your wedding photographer, it was such a fun day and I couldn’t be happier for the two of you! I hope Bermuda was amazing and I can’t wait to hear all about it!
xoxo,
Brea
