Irene + Danny | Elkridge Furnace Inn Wedding

April 22, 2015

Weddings

This Sunday, Danny and Irene were married at the beautiful Elkridge Furnace Inn. I remember thinking to myself that it would be a fun day – an awesome couple, a venue that I love, and beautiful weather. It was the perfect recipe. Though I had absolutely no idea how much fun it would really be. The first time I went into the groom’s room and spent just a few minutes with Danny and his groomsmen, I knew it was going to be a crazy night… and I was absolutely right! This wedding had it all: a beautiful bride, handsome groom, their adorable son and some very sweet and funny moments thanks to the little man, and a ridiculously awesome party to top it all off!

I just adore Irene’s wedding dress. The all over lace is just stunning.

Just beautiful.

Danny and the guys were having a little too much fun in their room. It was a good sneak peek for me of what was to come later in the day.

I loved this bridal party! Fun, gorgeous, AND cooperative. Best mix ever.

I think Brandon was still drunk from the night before at this point. He clearly didn’t follow instructions.

After a few photos with their awesome bridal party, it was time to photograph the lovely couple. I just adore all of these.

Of all the times that I’ve photographed at The Elkridge Furnace Inn, this was my first time seeing the trees in bloom – and it was beautiful!

I just love this shot on the left, so sweet.

Such a stunning bride!

Danny looked quite handsome as well!

Okay, I just love Irene’s niece. She’s the sweetest little thing and she was so emotional all day. I just wanted to hug her.

TRISTAN!! I just love this little guy! He’s the absolute cutest.

And since he’s so cute, here’s another one. I just love his face!!!

The reception tent was so pretty with all of the soft colors.

I definitely got a little emotional when their little guy joined them for the first dance. Such an awesome family. I love their love.

I can’t even comment on the toasts. Irene’s sister’s toast was very sweet. Danny’s brother’s was interesting… I’ll just leave it at that.

The party was an ABSOLUTE blast. So much fun, packed dance floor. As DJ Rob said “we’re going to take it to the club”, and take it to the club he did.

The weather was perfect all day, but it lightly rained during the reception – thankfully they were up for a few shots and I’m so glad. Rainy night shots are my fave.
