Sarah and Kareem are two of the kindest people you’ll ever meet. I’ve been looking forward to their Gramercy Mansion wedding since I first met Sarah a year ago. I knew it would be one of the highlights of this wedding season, and it definitely did not disappoint.
The Couple
From Sarah: “Kareem and I met at Boston College. We were friends before we started dating, and fell in love in February of our senior year of school. When we first started dating, I already knew I was moving back to Maryland to go to grad school, so I was hesitant to enter into what I knew would be a long distance relationship. Kareem was so amazing that I knew early on that we would make it work, even from far away. After over six years, we both know that our long-distance relationship has been well worth it! On November 25th, 2015, Kareem came to spend Thanksgiving with my family. As is the custom with my high school friends, we went out for drinks with my closest friends (many of whom are my bridesmaids) at The Kent Inn in Towson. After nervously asking my best friend Shannon all night “Is now a good time???” (She said yes every single time, but it took Kareem a while to get up his nerve) he finally dropped to one knee, told me how much he loved me, and asked me to marry him. We were both so happy, and we immediately celebrated with our friends and called our families to let them know. It was the most amazing moment! ”
The Wedding
Sarah and Kareem’s wedding day was the perfect celebration of two wonderful people. Being by their side felt like being around family. They were married at The Catholic Community of St. Francis Xavier, and had a blast of a reception at Gramercy Mansion, with music by Under the Covers – who totally rocked the place. It was truly a beautiful day for two of the most deserving people around. I’m so honored I got to be a part of it. Here are just a few of my favorites from their special day.

I love this wedding! They are so cute together and I love the portraits that you did inside of the Gramercy. Beautiful.
I love the posing and unique perspective, Brea; what beautiful portraits to hang in their home. Congratulations!
