Alyssa and Richie‘s wedding this past weekend at Antrim 1844 was one of the easiest days to capture. Beautiful weather, wonderful people, endless amounts of fun. It doesn’t get much better than this, folks!

The Couple

Richie and Alyssa met while they both were students at the University of Maryland. Go Terps! Alyssa was in her Junior year and Richie in his Sophomore year. They met through mutual friends at a party where Richie asked Alyssa to play beer pong with him. His pick up line was, “Hey, did you know I’m nationally ranked at beer pong?” He then proceeded to tell Alyssa how he and his friend had once beaten a nationally ranked team at a bar, thus making him nationally ranked as well. Richie has been making Alyssa laugh everyday since!

Richie proposed to Alyssa while they were on vacation in Norway visiting Alyssa’s family. While Richie and Alyssa were exploring the city of Oslo, Alyssa’s mom and aunt bought hundreds of tea candles and arranged them to ask the special question. Then, once the sun went down, Richie convinced Alyssa to test out her cousin’s drone. When she tilted the drone camera down, she read “MARRY ME!” and Richie got down on one knee. We know how the rest of that story played out :)

The Wedding

Alyssa and Richie’s wedding was just good for the soul. They are two of the kindest most lovable humans around. Their love for each other is so sweet and pure – there is no questioning that they are right for each other. Photographing them is a blast, Alyssa is absolutely beautiful and Richie makes the best facial expressions ever. Their friends and family are a blast, and the flower girls stole the show. It was a day surrounded by friends that felt like family. It was an honor to be the one to capture it all. A few of our favorites on the blog today!
