Last year I got to go to Charlottesville for the first time to photograph a wedding with a friend of mine. It was gorgeous and I loved our stay there. I was pretty excited when Natalie and Mike suggested doing their engagement photos where they live in Charlottesville, instead of up here in Baltimore. When Natalie suggested starting off at Carter Mountain Orchard, I was pretty pumped because I had been there before and their cider donuts were bomb. Oh, and the view was pretty good. When we were talking about the location for the second half of the session Natalie says “There are some trails, and a log…” and I’m like, “A log? What?” And what first pops into my head is the Log song/commercial from Ren and Stimpy. And that’s really all you need to know about this session. Oh, and that log was pretty cool. But not as cool as Natalie and Mike.
Awesome sauce on this one! And you weren’t kidding about the view.
Ah, Brea, so amazing! I’m dying at that middle tree frame…um what!
The tree ones…gahhh! Pretty pretty!
