Kelsey and Chris’ Antrim 1844 Winter Wedding this past weekend was warm and wonderful and full of so much love.
The Couple
From the couple: “Chris and Kelsey met on eHarmony. They went on their first date to Cafe Nola in Downtown Frederick, and by the end of the date, Kelsey thought Chris was a bit of a jerk. Even though she thought that, she still went on a second date with Chris (although Chris thought she was skipping the date since she was 20 minutes late). The date was okay, but when they went on their third date, things took off from there.
The day Chris proposed was at the end of Kelsey’s first week back at school, so needless to say she was exhausted. While Kelsey was sitting on the couch trying to destress, Chris chucks a book at her and said “since you say I never do anything nice for you, I made you this.” Chris had made Kelsey a scrapbook of some of their pictures from the European vacation they had took that summer. When Kelsey got to the end she turned to a page that said “our next adventure” and had Alaskan stickers. Kelsey’s initial thought was they were going to Alaska, as that is a place they both have said they wanted to visit, but when she turned to the last page she saw a bunch of jibberish. Chris had written “will you marry me” in all of the languages of the countries they had visited that summer. Kelsey’s response was “what” as she was very confused as to what the jibberish meant, and then Chris was sitting there holding a ring.”
They will finally get to go to Alaska for their honeymoon next summer :)
The Wedding
I’m so excited that Kelsey and Chris’ wedding was my second to last wedding of the year. It was such a good way to start winding down for the winter. Tons of wonderful emotional moments – loads of laughter – and one of the best parties of the year (shout out to Jordan for killing it as always!) Here are just a few of my favorites from Kelsey and Chris’ big day!
