Dani + Stephen | Great Falls Engagement Session | Potomac, MD

Dani and Stephen’s Great Falls engagement session was the perfect metaphor for 2020. Rescheduled due to weather, the trail we were intending to go on blocked off and closed down, and a water rescue were just a few of the obstacles we had to overcome. But as with 2020, we rolled with the punches and made the most of it – and our backup plan ended up being pretty awesome.

As we were walking to the trail to find out that it was closed, I noticed a slightly treacherous trail down the hill to the spot we ended up exploring for the entirety of the session. It had everything – rocks, water, and lots of green space. Thankfully Dani and Stephen were up for adventure, because they fell in the water when a log broke that they were sitting on… whoops. After that point – we just went all in (Brooke and I included) and got in the water. We drove home with wet butts and full hearts. It was an awesome night and we can’t wait for their weddings this October and next November!
