June 30, 2021 Jess + Patrick | Intimate Backyard Wedding | Princeton, NJ
This past weekend we finally were able to celebrate with Jess and Patrick, and it was 100% worth the wait!
The Couple
Jessica and Patrick met at the wedding rehearsal of Alexa and Dan at a vineyard in Leesburg, Virginia on October 16, 2015. She was the Maid of Honor and he was a lowly usher. Patrick was entranced by Jessica’s quick wit and radiant beauty (his words), and decided to extend his stay by a day so that he could spend more time with Jessica in Washington, DC. She flew out to Chicago for work in early December, at which point he asked her to end her “free agency” and give long distance a shot. After many Southwest flights between Reagan and Midway, Jessica moved to Chicago in late June 2017. On April 11, 2019, Patrick asked Jessica to marry him.
The Wedding
Jess and Patrick were originally supposed to get married exactly one year prior (thanks, ‘rona). So this has been a wedding I’ve been looking forward to for quite some time. Patrick and Jess are truly wonderful people, and it was truly special being able to witness how much they love their people, and how loved they are in return. They were married in Princeton, NJ at a beautiful church and the reception was held at Jess’ step dad’s home on his gorgeous property – and everything was absolutely stunning. I couldn’t have dreamt a better day for these two. Here are some of my favorites.
