Jake + Jinney | Intimate Wedding at Gramercy Mansion | Baltimore, MD

October 5, 2021 Jake + Jinney | Intimate Wedding at Gramercy Mansion | Baltimore, MD

Jake and Jinney were married this past Thursday at Gramercy Mansion with just their closest family and a few friends in attendance. It was SUCH a lovely day celebrating these two – we had so much fun!

The Couple

From the groom: “People say we had a very “modern” romance.  We’ve known each other since high school where we were friends and had orchestra and a few classes with each other.  It wasn’t really until after high school that we started dating, and by that time Jinney had moved alll the way to California for college while I was still in Maryland.  One Thanksgiving break during my sophomore year of college (her junior year), we met up with a couple of friends to play Pokemon Go and exchanged Snapchats to keep in touch once Jinney went back to school.  When she did go back we sent each other messages daily until we finally decided to start dating, which we did long-distance, with laggy Skype calls and all, until Jinney graduated and moved back to Maryland.  After four years, we decided it was about time to go ring shopping.  There’s a bench on the College Park campus outside of the chapel where we spent some time after our first real, in-person date night and wrote in a journal that’s stowed away underneath.  Under the guise of going to Ikea we went back to College Park and payed a visit back to the bench, and I popped the question (and she said yes!).  We made another entry into the journal, this time as an engaged couple, describing all the things that happened between the first time at that bench and then.”

The Wedding

I am so excited to share these photos of Jake and Jinney. They are so sweet and so fun and you’ll be able to tell just how much fun we had. We were only together for 2 hours and I’m obsessed with the photos we got in that time. It was such an honor to be a part of their celebration! Here are just some of my favorites.
