Rachel and Harry’s Enoch Pratt Free Library wedding this past weekend was the perfect celebration of a rare and beautiful love.
The Couple
Rachel and Harry met through Hinge but actually went to the same high school, even though they didn’t know each other. Funnily enough, their sisters were good friends when they were younger! Harry proposed at Cylburn Arboretum in the gazebo just after their second (dating) anniversary. Rachel may have had an idea that Harry was going to propose since FedEx delivered the ring to the wrong address and he was freaking out trying to find it in the rain, going door to door with our neighbors. Rachel had Harry’s ring (they both have engagement rings) with her when Harry proposed.
The Wedding
As someone who makes a living out of photographing love, I feel like I am a bit of an expert on the topic. Rachel and Harry’s connection is a rare, beautiful thing. I wrote a bit about our first meeting and what Harry said in their engagement session post. Watching Harry and Rachel say their vows, looking deeply into each other’s eyes, you could see the love they have for each other. The Enoch Pratt Free Library was such a gorgeous and appropriate backdrop for their celebration. This was my first wedding there and hopefully not my last! Rachel and Harry’s connection is so deep and so beautiful, it was such an honor to be chosen to capture their love. My favorites from the wedding are on the blog today!
