March 9, 2022 Nichole + Nick | Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall Wedding Photos | Baltimore, MD
This past weekend Nick and Nichole were married at the Meyerhoff Symphony Hall in Baltimore. It was such a gorgeous celebration of two truly uniquely beautiful people.
From the couple: “As if being named Nick and Nichole wasn’t gross enough, we both were music education majors at Towson University. We were seated next to each other one semester in symphonic band, and gradually became closer, bonding over our similar tastes in music, movies, and food. We spent more and more time with each other and officially became official one night following seeing the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra perform The Firebird. As Nick graduated and went into the teaching field, Nichole finished out her time at Towson studying to do the same thing. We were a constant support system to each other and got to watch each other grow in so many ways.
“In the year 2020, we moved in together. And while this may have posed to be a challenge for some couples, the lockdown era proved to be some of our best months of uninterrupted time together. May of 2020 rolls around and Nick decided that he wanted this time together to last forever. He surprised Nichole by taking her on an impromptu walk to the Meyerhoff (Baltimore Symphony Orchestra concert hall) and asked her to marry him outside the building that meant so much to them and their story. Now, we are both teaching elementary music and are building our home together with our three adopted cats. We could not be happier and cannot wait for our wedding day at the place where it all began.”
First off, I absolutely adore these people. When I first met with Nichole and Nick, I fell in love with their energy, their connection, and both of them individually as well as a couple. They are so kind, so sweet, fun, quirky, beautiful inside and out, angel humans. And I feel so fortunate that our paths converged and now I get to keep them as friends.
They chose to have their wedding at the Meyerhoff, as it’s the location of their first “real” date as well as where Nick proposed. AND this was the first wedding at the Meyerhoff in at least 10 years, if not longer. Not only was this an incredibly appropriate and meaningful choice for their wedding, but it was also absolutely stunning. These are some of my favorite wedding photos I’ve ever taken in Baltimore.
Lastly, I just want to highlight how wonderful both Nichole and Nick’s families are. This day was filled with so much love and happy tears. It was truly beautiful to be able to witness, capture, and take part in it alongside them all. Here are just some of my favorites.
