Emily and Jack‘s wedding at 1840s Plaza this past weekend was 100% worth the two year wait!

The Couple

From the couple: “Jack went out to “meet chicks” at Max’s Taphouse one night after a long week of work. Emily was up in Baltimore visiting a friend. She just so happened to end up at Max’s Taphouse, as well. Since Max’s has over 80 beers on tap, ordering can be tricky. Jack offered his menu to Emily and later in the evening, they struck up a conversation about how Wicked is the quintessential musical…the rest is history. One deployment to Afghanistan and one move to North Carolina together later, Jack proposed to Emily at a fake waffle-making family event. While there were no *actual* waffles to be found at said waffle-making event, the outcome was infinitely sweeter and filled with many tears of joy.”

The Wedding

The last time I saw Emily and Jack prior to this weekend was their engagement session almost three years ago. To say this day was a long time in the making is quite the understatement. Despite the fact that they were legally married in February of 2019, long before covid postponed their big wedding plans twice, there was absolutely no shortage of emotion or excitement surrounding this day. Emily and Jack are an absolutely perfect fit- goofy, sweet, loving, and fun. And it was a joy to fiiiiinally get to celebrate with them! Here are just some of my favorites!
