This past weekend Christine and Patrick were married at the Hyatt Regency in Reston, VA surrounded by A LOT of loving and wonderful friends and family.

The Couple

From the couple: “Christine was working for Joey one day (who will be at the wedding) and Joey said to her “This may sound weird but I think you would really get along with one of my fraternity brothers” Christine replied “I am on bumble, tinder, and hinge meeting strangers in bars, that is the least weird thing I have ever heard” He arranged for us to meet while out with friends in Arlington and we’ve been inseparable ever since!

“Pat proposed to Christine in front of a beautiful waterfall on a rock in the middle of a river on our friend’s property in West Virginia. With a river flowing around them and friends hiding in the bushes to capture the moment.”

The Wedding

Christine and Pat’s wedding wasn’t the biggest wedding I’ve ever photographed, but it certainly was the most intimate feeling large wedding I’ve ever photographed. Christine has an incredibly large extended family – and they’re closer than many immediate families. I loved learning about their family dynamics and getting to witness the love they all have for each other first hand. This was such a fun day to be a part of, and I’m psyched to be sharing highlights on the blog today!
