Matt and Margaret’s wedding this past weekend at the Lansdowne Resort was SO MUCH FUN! I’m excited to share highlights today on the blog!

The Couple

Margaret and Matt met during their first week of college in September 2010 when Margaret was invited to play on their coed intramural soccer team by a friend of Matt’s. They met the night of the first game, and after subsequent games, Matt would walk Margaret home, passing his own dorm along the way. They established a tradition of going to the North Campus diner for late-night mozzarella sticks and wings, often staying until midnight when the diner closed. A few weeks later, on Halloween, Matt asked Margaret to be his girlfriend.

They both settled in Baltimore after college, with Margaret attending Medical School at the University of Maryland and Matt building a career in Logistics with Stanley Black & Decker. In October 2021, during a vacation in Hawaii, they got engaged. Now, after 12 years since that first soccer game, they continue to cherish their moments together and maintain their love for late-night mozzarella sticks and wings.

The Wedding

Matt and Marge’s wedding this past Saturday was the perfect combination of everything you’d want a wedding to be. They had beautiful, emotional moments (I see you, Henry), SO many amazing friends and family that turned out for them, and the most epic dance party of our year so far. I loved getting to witness and capture so many amazing moments. Here are just some of my favorites from a day that was too good to summarize in words.
