Victoria and Brian were married this past weekend at the Mt. Washington Mill Dye House! I’m excited to share the highlights on the blog today.

The Couple

From the couple: “We met over Bumble in early spring 2019! Brian doesn’t like to admit it, but that’s how all the cool kids meet people these days. Victoria’s anxiety was through the roof when we first met, so Brian didn’t even know if Victoria liked him. She did, and the rest is history. Victoria didn’t scare away Brian with her love of her dog, so that’s a miracle. The pandemic started a little less than a year into our relationship, so we spent a lot of time together and we still loved each other. Not just loved, but liked each other.

“Brian proposed in October 2021. Victoria knew it was coming because he put the brunch reservation on the shared calendar in August, so that was a give away. We went to Ladurée in Georgetown. Brian knew Victoria had been wanting to go there for years. After brunch, we walked along the canal and he proposed in a quiet spot along the water. It was perfect. We then went home to give the good news to our dog (and our family and friends, of course)!”

The Wedding

This past weekend was the first weekend since spring that wasn’t blazing hot, and it was the perfect kick off to our fall wedding season, despite not quite yet being officially fall. Because of the gorgeous temps, Victoria and Brian chose to have their ceremony outdoors in the courtyard outside of the Dye House. After their lovely ceremony, they had an epic party thanks to Brian from My Deejay and his mix of 90s throwbacks and 2000s emo. It was an absolute blast and I’m psyched to share the highlights on the blog today!
