This past weekend Brittany and Jordan were married at Hook Hall in DC, in what was the mirror-ball colorful wedding of my photographer dreams.

The Couple

From the couple: “Cold night in February 2017, Brit went with friends Kaitlyn and Matney to see Léon at Rock and Roll Hotel on H St. After the show, we went upstairs to keep dancing to music when she saw THE PRETTIEST boy walk in, and then walk right by her. She had to be awake early for Odyssesy of the Mind judges training. Jordan was hanging out at a friends birthday party down the street and decided to come to Rock and Roll Hotel for their famous second floor dance parties. Then, Brit’s pretty boy came out of seemingly NOWHERE and asked to dance together. Pretty soon they shared a “DFMO” Dance Floor Makeout. We exchanged names loudly through the music and then Brit threw her phone at Jordan asking for his number. Brit had to leave, but the paths had crossed to our wedding day!”

The Wedding

I loved this wedding and I love these people. Lots of color, disco balls everywhere, the bride’s dad’s Tiffany blue Austin-Healey… there were so many reasons that Brittany and Jordan’s wedding was a blast to photograph. But nothing beats how amazing Brit and Jordan are together. They truly come alive when they’re in each others’ presence, and it’s the best thing ever. Add to that their truly wonderful friends and family, and it was an incredibly memorable and special day.
