Faith and Drew were married this past weekend in the magical, historic, George Peabody Library, surrounded by friends, family, love, and old books.

The Couple

From Faith: “Drew and I met on Bumble — funny enough I was too nervous to swipe on him but my friend told me to go for it and swiped right for me. We met at a dive bar for our first date and I thought he was just a jock, but then we talked and I realized he loved nerdy things like Harry Potter and video games. Drew will say its me knowing about video games that made him interested in me.

“When Drew proposed, he picked a spot in our neighborhood, Riverside Park, and chose it because it was equal distance between my rental house, his apartment, and our new house that we would live in together. At our engagement party, I told everyone that Drew was almost none of the things I thought I wanted, but everything I needed — and I really meant that. He is kind, thoughtful, and loyal above all else.”

The Wedding

I am so excited to share Faith and Drew’s wedding on the blog today. My journey with them started a little differently than most of my couples. It started with an instagram message from Drew in February of 2023, asking if I was available to photograph a proposal. Fast forward a few weeks, and Faith said yes! Following their proposal and a little mini-portrait shoot, I snuck into Faith’s best friend Jenna’s house to be there to capture their surprise engagement party! What makes all this even more fun is that there were so many familiar to me faces at the wedding from being there for the beginning of their journey in this way!

Saturday was absolutely beautiful and such a fun celebration. Faith and Drew have such a wonderful community of friends and family and it was a blast to be in their orbit all day. Here are just some of the highlights!
