Two years after getting married in a small ceremony, Bailey and Chris celebrated their wedding with their friends and family at Chase Court! It was an absolutely beautiful day with a palpable outpouring of love.
The Couple
From the couple: “We met during college thanks to a great wingwoman who’s in our wedding party. We dated throughout college and beyond, and got engaged in the Catskills while doing one of our favorite activities – hiking together. We’ve been together almost ten years and would love 100 more <3”
The Wedding
Bailey and Chris’ wedding was a first for me, in over 500+ weddings… Bailey spent the entire day very, very sick with food poisoning. It was such a bummer watching her struggle to keep even water down over the course of the day.
But this isn’t a story of a sick bride. It’s a story of love.
The love that Bailey’s friends have for her, being her medical team trying to crack the case, bringing her whatever she needed all day, helping her when she was getting ill, calling in a mobile IV nurse, and all of the regular bridesmaid duties as well. It’s a story of the love Chris has for Bailey which is apparent in every single frame we took. And it’s a story of the love that Bailey has for her people, because even food poisoning couldn’t keep her from enjoying every moment she felt well enough to. These are some of the most wonderful and touching photos we’ve taken, made even more so because of what it took to get there. Bailey and Chris, thank you for choosing us to capture your memories. It was magical.

These fantastic photographs tell their story in such a beautiful way! So well done!
It is a gift on a good day to be able to help couples have a special experience on their wedding day, and it is especially so when we can do all the things at Chase Court to support couples like this, when illness threatens to get in the way.
Bailey and Chris had a beautiful wedding and, despite the challenges, did all the things, and felt all the feels. It was a joy to be there to support them and help it all happen!
