Do you remember the 21st night of September? Well, Lindsay and Jack will for the rest of their lives… as it was the night that they were married. Their wedding at St. Francis Hall was gorgeous and the party was a BLAST. I’m psyched to share the highlights on the blog today.

The Couple

From the couple: “We met freshman year at RIT while in the same major… but did not start hanging in the same group of friends until our 5th year. We dated for a year long distance after graduation, and then Jack moved to DC to be with Lindsay. From there, we always knew we’d get married but were not in a rush. In 2021, Jack proposed to Lindsay in front of the (empty) sloth bear exhibit, where our first DC date took place–but we already knew we wouldn’t tie the knot until 2024 when the perfect date (September 21) fell on a Saturday. The song “September” by Earth, Wind, and Fire is a favorite of ours and were looking forward to aligning our wedding with the date.”

The Wedding

Lindsay and Jack’s wedding day was SO much fun. We had a blast hanging out with them and their families all day. Lindsay and Jack have been engaged for a while, waiting for the perfect wedding date to arrive, and their excitement that the day was finally here was contagious. There are so many things I loved about this wedding. I loved their heartfelt personal vows, complete with musical theater references and a riddle written by the groom. Lindsay’s sweet niece, Baby Camille, stole the show once she arrived (destroying and then eating her flower like a boss during the ceremony). But really the best part was seeing how loved they are by everyone in their lives. That’s what it’s all about. Here are just some of many amazing photos capturing their magical day.
