Annie and Sarah’s wedding this past Thursday at the Belvedere was so special and beautiful and magical. All of the happy tears!

The Couple

From Sarah: “Annie and I met after joining the same band through our bassist, Vanessa. Really, our entire relationship is thanks to Vanessa.

“We became friends after I would pick her up at the Metro to carpool to practice. We would talk about anything and everything on that 10min trip and became friends. Not going to lie, I had a mad crush, but thought “Never date bandmates.” In March 2019, Vanessa was getting married had asked the band to play her wedding. Unbeknownst to me/Sarah, Annie caught feelings at Vanessa’s bachelorette party and was apparently flirting pretty hard during the wedding (I was oblivious lol). Next day she asked if I wanted to meet up for dinner at Red Derby in DC (under the guise of band business). Then she told me she “kinda liked [me].” She then followed that with “Well, I’m moving to Spain in two months…” and asked if I would be willing to see where things go. The rest of the night is kind of a spectacular blur, where the only thing either of us remember now is how insane it was we liked each other. I then asked later that night “So…does this mean we are dating?” She said “Hell yeah!”

“Last year, I proposed outside our rehearsal space where we first met. She tearily smiled and said, “Of course!” Annie proposed back at Bethany Beach–another of our favorite places, and I said, “Hell yeah!”

The Wedding

Annie and Sarah are magical beautiful beings and I am thankful that through this wedding process I’ve gotten to know them and our paths have now intertwined. They both just radiate love and warmth individually, and together it’s just perfect. This whole day was a warm and fuzzy feel good celebration of two incredible people and the beautiful tribe they’ve accumulated through the years. I’m excited to share my favorites on the blog today!
