Brittany and Josh’s Rosewood Farms wedding this past Friday was one of the most FUN and epic wedding celebrations we’ve ever been to! I’m excited to share the highlights on the blog today!
The Couple
It all started in 2017 when Brittany and Josh both worked at ShopRite as cashiers while they were in high school. They dated for about 8 months and decided to break it off and go in different directions. Josh kept coming back to Brittany, but she wasnt ready and needed to work on herself. Finally, after Josh came home from boot camp, Brittany reached out to him, and sparks flew immediately.
Two years into their relationship, Josh got deployed to Europe for a year, and it was the hardest thing they went through. However, they supported each other and always made time to call each other. No matter what, their love was stronger than any distance. It made them realize how much they appreciated and loved each other. Brittany flew out to Germany to visit him for 10 days, and they went to Paris together. It was the best moment of their relationship, seeing each other for the first time after 8 months. Josh being deployed is the reason their relationship is so strong!
The Proposal
After three years of being together, Josh proposed to Brittany on March 12th, a significant date for them. This held special meaning for Brittany, who cherished celebrating and going out to dinner every 12th of each month. The importance of this date stemmed from the fact that Josh had asked Brittany to be his girlfriend on January 12th. Brittany is deeply sentimental and values the idea of having a special day to commemorate their relationship every month.
When the anticipated day arrived, Josh treated Brittany to a romantic and elegant lunch to mark the 12th. However, the surprises didn’t end there. Josh meticulously organized a scavenger hunt for Brittany, beginning with the opening of a letter at the restaurant. This journey took them through the significant milestones of their relationship, from their first kiss to the moment he first expressed his love.
The climax of the scavenger hunt led them to a beautiful trail where Josh had arranged 14 photos depicting key moments in their relationship, displayed on stands. An aisle of rose petals adorned the path, culminating in a heartfelt proposal from Josh. To top it off, he had organized a surprise party to celebrate the joyous occasion with their closest friends and family
The Wedding
From my first chat with Brittany and Josh, I knew that this day was going to be a lot of fun. They are so sweet and wonderful together, and they were just brimming with excitement about the wedding and being able to celebrate with all of their favorite people. There was a huge emphasis on making it a good party, and that they pulled off perfectly. Buckle up, there are WAY too many photos in this post, but when it’s this good, it’s hard to narrow it down any further. Also, shout out to Mr. Bear, their adorable tiny pup, for being the cutest Best Dog ever.
