Tim and Ava were married this past weekend at the gorgeous Howard County Conservancy on a perfect spring day!

The Couple

From the couple: “We met online in May 2018. Although we had grown up in the same county and attended neighboring high schools, we never met until after college! Our relationship started long-distance, as Tim moved to northern New Jersey for a summer internship soon after we connected online. We sent each other texts to keep in touch throughout that summer (the 21st-century equivalent of sending letters). After Tim returned to Maryland, we spent time getting to know each other, playing board games, and trying new restaurants.

“We had to stay long distance after Tim moved to the Philadelphia region for work while Ava started medical school in Cleveland, Ohio. Even though we were in different states, we were still able to see each other regularly. We love to take vacations and travel together, and we have visited several national parks over the years. Six years later, we are excited to finally close the distance after Ava graduates medical school and starts residency!”

The Wedding

Ava and Tim’s wedding day was absolutely perfect. They were married this weekend at the beautiful Howard County Conservancy. These two are incredibly sweet, and their private vow exchange was one of the most heartfelt moments I’ve had the honor to witness and capture. The forecast called for rain, but the skies held off, giving us the chance to explore the property and soak in the spring blooms. While the chilly weather moved their ceremony indoors, it turned out to be the perfect setting—cozy, romantic, and beautifully framed by the lush florals their talented florist provided. It was such a joy to be part of this day.
