I absolutely love this family. I first became a part of their lives when I photographed Richie and Alyssa’s engagement session and wedding almost a decade ago, and since then I’ve been their family’s photographer for all things. This is one of the biggest honors and best perks of this job – getting to know people so well that you feel like you’re a part of their extended family. When Shari reached out to me asking if I was available to photograph Bryan and Michael’s pool party crab feast backyard wedding this summer I was so excited to spend the day with my favorite family and get to be a part of another important milestone in their lives.
One of the other neat side effects of that familiarity is just how easy it is to capture the good stuff – because they’re already comfortable in my presence. And this day had no shortage of “good stuff.” Michael and Bryan are so good together. I loved being able to capture this celebration for them. It just felt good. I am so happy for you two and I wish you a lifetime of happiness.
