Caroline and Mason’s wedding this past weekend was a photographer’s dream. The sweetest couple, the best friends and family, and the most gorgeous venue in Baltimore.

The Couple

Caroline and Mason met freshman year at Notre Dame at a party in his dorm, then ended up at Subway with a group of friends later that night, splitting off to their own table and talking for hours. Neither of them thought much of it at the time, and Caroline didn’t even realize he had a girlfriend. They ran into each other again a few months later, once Mason was single, and the rest is history. When the pandemic sent everyone home that spring, they spent months on FaceTime from their childhood homes in Maryland and Iowa, and Mason made things official once they were back on campus that August.

Years later, Mason proposed on their fifth anniversary with a picnic at the U.S. Botanic Garden, followed by a walk to the Bartholdi Fountain, where he got down on one knee. Caroline wasn’t totally surprised a proposal was coming, but she had no idea their parents and siblings were hiding in the bushes nearby, ready to celebrate the second he asked.

The Wedding

Caroline and Mason got married this past weekend at the Peabody Library, and it was such a fun one to be part of. It’s such a magical venue, but what makes it so special for me is the people. Caroline and Mason, their family and friends were all top tier. I’m so grateful I got to spend the day with Caroline and Mason and the people who love them most.
