Zena and Nima‘s wedding this past weekend at Glen Echo Park was a joyful, beautiful day. I’m thrilled to share highlights on the blog today.

The Couple

From the couple: “We matched on Hinge in November 2021 and quickly realized we’d gone to the same middle and high school growing up without ever meeting. Our first date was at a brewery in Silver Spring. The date went for much longer than either of us expected since we were having such a great time getting to know each other. Six months later we were living together. 3 1/2 years later, on a trip to Italy, Nima proposed on top of Monte Igno in the tiny Umbrian town of Gubbio, with rolling green hills behind them and a nice little caffe next door for celebratory spritzes.”

The Wedding

Zena and Nima have such a special relationship, and capturing their wedding was an absolute joy. Their love and connection is evident from the first moments you spend with them. It’s really no surprise they’re so wonderful once you see the people in their lives, their friends and families are equally loving and wonderful. It was such a special day, at a place that’s special to both of them, capturing the beginning of this new chapter in their lives. Here are just some of my favorites from a really wonderful day.
