Julie and Greg’s wedding this past weekend was SO much fun, and at the most gorgeous venue *I’ve* been to in Virginia. I’m thrilled to share the highlights on the blog today.

The Couple

Julie and Greg met on Bumble, and their story includes a very important difference of opinion: Julie was convinced DC didn’t have good pizza. Greg was ready to challenge that claim and suggested Andy’s. As it turns out, Julie was wrong—and while finding her person was obviously the bigger win, finding good pizza was a pretty solid bonus. (We even did their engagement photos at Andy’s!)

The Wedding

There’s nothing I love to capture more than joy. Julie was joy personified on Saturday. And thus, Saturday was AWESOME. I knew we’d have a good time after their engagement shoot—we had a great time walking around and exploring Alexandria, talking about our shared love of travel (both of them) and the ocean (mostly Julie), and ended our evening with delicious pizza.

On their wedding day I got to meet Dobby, a.k.a. The Goodest Boi™, their wonderful friends and families, and I loved capturing all of the little moments with everyone throughout the day. Julie’s nephew, the ring bearer, tried really hard to be the star of the ceremony. The only reason he didn’t win was because their vows were just that good.

All day, Julie did not hold back a single ounce of excitement, and I loved every second of it. There’s something really fun about photographing someone whose face tells you exactly how much fun they’re having. Add in the gorgeous scenery at Blue Valley Vineyard and it was perfect. Here are just some of my favorites from this truly wonderful day!
