Back at it on the blog today for Part Two of Tracy and Bharath’s two part wedding celebration! If you missed part one on the blog yesterday, click here to see some highlights from full day wedding celebration at the Frederick Douglass-Isaac Myers Maritime Museum!
One of my favorite things about this job is getting to learn about different cultures and their wedding traditions. Indian weddings are uniquely wonderful to photograph and witness. The wedding isn’t just about the couple, it’s about the joining of two families, and it’s represented in how much various family members are included in the rituals throughout the ceremony. In no other wedding ceremony can we capture great moments with their entire immediate families and some extended family members too! It feels like an entire community coming together to celebrate and support them as they start this new journey together – and it’s an absolute blast.
Here are just a few of our favorites from our morning with them – the bulk of the photos being from that amazing ceremony!
