Hola! We are back from our vacation finally and I have some pictures to share with all of you! Our trip was originally only supposed to be four days, Saturday through Tuesday. Hurricane Sandy had other plans. We didn’t end up getting back home until Thursday due to cancelled flights. Although our house did not get through the storm completely untouched, we are grateful that it wasn’t worse than it was and our thoughts are with those in New York and New Jersey who have weeks of recovery ahead of them. Although Hurricane Sandy weighed heavy on our minds while we were away we still had a wonderful and relaxing trip in the beautiful Dominican Republic!

We stayed at the Majestic Elegance Resort and couldn’t have imagined a better place to stay! The food was fantastic, the all inclusive element was so nice, the service was wonderful, the room was GORGEOUS and the grounds were too. It was a wonderful place for us to go and celebrate our first year of marriage!
