This year I am so fortunate to have so many couples that I absolutely adore and know will end up being people that I keep in touch with over the years and turn into real friends. Lauren and Bryan are one of those such couples. When I first met them, they were so sweet and so enthusiastic and I knew right away that I wanted to work with them. Thankfully they agreed! They booked me on the spot and we hugged when they left. I hadn’t seen them in almost 6 months before their engagement session and it was way too long! Though their adorable faces have been on my fridge (they sent me a save the date :)) for months, it just wasn’t the same! We had a blast wandering around Annapolis together and went to dinner afterwards and were out WAY later than expected. As they say, time flies when you’re having fun!
I am so excited to share these photos, this is such a beautiful session and I swear every photo I love more than the last. I am CRAZY excited for their wedding this August at Linganore – one of my all time favorite venues with one of my all time favorite couples? Yes please!
As I normally do when shooting in Annapolis, we just wandered around talking until we saw something cute and stopped for a photo. As always, Annapolis has no shortage of charm and it continues to be one of my favorite places to photograph! This session was especially beautiful because it’s FINALLY starting to feel like spring. Beautiful flowers everywhere and a gorgeous sunset.
Our first stop along our walk was at a street corner when I saw this gorgeous tree with white blossoms. Little did I know that we’d find many more flowering trees along the way, but it was still a great spot to warm up.
One of the awesome (and yet strange) parts of photographing in Annapolis is that so many of the photos happen in front of stranger’s homes. I’m sure the homeowners are used to it by now.Lauren’s ring is an absolute stunner! Bryan did a crazy awesome job. I’ve never seen such a sparkly diamond – the cut is amazing! It photographed so beautifully too! AHH! Love! Lauren is so gorgeous! And this light, and their amazing outfits, and the spring colors, definitely a new favorite! I am basically obsessed with this entire series so I’ll spare you me commenting on all of them :P I love this little mural on one of the side streets! Thanks to Mandy Sroka for letting me know where this is! We headed back to the car for a quick wardrobe change before heading out to the docks. There was a boat show going on so there was a lot of caution tape (literally) and vendor tents to shoot around, but it still turned out awesome! Gorgeous! Here we were watching a guy stand up paddle board across the harbor in jeans. Not a sight you see every day in Annapolis!Ahh! Another favorite! And of course I had to get some more shots of her beautiful engagement ring… Lauren and Bryan, you guys are awesome and I’m so happy that you found me! I hope you love these photos as much as I do and I can’t WAIT for your wedding in August! It’s going to be amazing!
