July 17, 2014 Allyson + Zach | Washington DC Engagement Session
Yesterday morning I met Ally and Zach well before daybreak for their sunrise session… and then it was too cloudy for a proper sunrise. Womp womp. But that didn’t make this session any less special! The skies were still beautiful, just not quite what we were going for… we had a run in with a very enthusiastic exercise group, posed with Albert Einstein, airplanes and one of the cutest pooches to ever grace this blog- their baby Kona!
Although we didn’t have the sunrise we’d hope for – I had my lighting gear with me so we took advantage of it anyway. Still such beautiful skies!
How cute are these two?
Well, it seems they’re more than just cute. They’re f’ing beautiful according to our new exercise friends. The mob of people behind them on the left is a group of people crazy enough to get up and exercise at 5:30 in the morning in DC. They kept trying to get us to join them. I was out of breath just walking up the stairs, ain’t no way I was going to run. Regardless, they were an awesome group and yelled their congratulations, that Ally and Zach were “F’ing Beautiful”. Admittedly, they all seemed to be having a lot of fun and if I lived closer I’d consider joining – what a great way to stay motivated and accountable! :)
They even had Allyson and Zach join their big group photo post-workout!
As we were walking over Zach mentioned that there was an Albert Einstein memorial. Me being a lover of all things science of course had to see this- I had no idea there was such a thing! I love that we got some photos with Al.
I love these two. Such naturals from the very beginning.

We wrapped up our session at Gravelly Point Park — which is right next to the airport. How cool is this?
Kona came to the final location as well and got in some of the photos. I just love her!

Ally and Zach – thanks so much for getting up super early and hanging out with me yesterday! I can’t wait for your wedding next year and hope to see you again before then!
