November 6, 2014 Megan + Chris | Fall Engagement Session
I first met Megan and Chris about a month ago to talk about their wedding plans for next year. I was really excited to work with them and loved their laid back personalities. When we were brainstorming potential locations for their session, Megan and Chris came up with the idea to do it on Chris’ grandparents’ property. The land is in the process of being sold to a group of townhouse developers, and so capturing this place that Chris spent so much time growing up seemed like the perfect option. I was very excited when I arrived and saw all of the variety it offered! So many great options, so much variety! It’s awesome. How often do you get to photograph a stream, fall foliage, bamboo and a barn in the same location? Pretty much never. Like I said, awesome.

So my favorite part of this shot is that the tree you see is Chris’ first Christmas tree. It’s as old as he is! How cool is that!?
