Lauren + Mike | Pier 5 Hotel Wedding | Baltimore, Maryland

The perfect wedding day is a myth, there is no such thing. Something will inevitably go wrong, whether big or small. Sometimes that thing is a very loud sound check for an outdoor concert a stone’s throw away from where you’re getting married that starts right as your ceremony begins. What is perfect is when you just roll with it, laugh it off, and accept it as your story of the beginning of your forever and nothing can get you down. That’s exactly what Lauren and Mike did. Even shouting their vows over a Janis Joplin cover, their ceremony was beautiful and emotional. I wish I could bottle up Michael’s smile from when he first saw Lauren, the way they looked at each other during the ceremony, and the absolute joy during their first dance. Time and time again throughout the day, I’d look at them and my heart would swell. They are the picture perfect example of best friends and true love. Maybe logistically things weren’t quite as planned, but their love is nothing short of perfection.

Lauren + Mike, I’ve loved getting to know the two of you and it was truly an honor to be a part of your big day! You guys are awesome and expert nuzzlers. I can’t wait to see what life has in store for you as Mr. and Mrs.!
