October 19, 2015 My Parents! | Jim + Joanne | Irvine Nature Center Session
This session is so incredibly special and I’m so excited to share it on the blog today! For Christmas last year I gifted my parents a photo session and we finally got around to making it happen! They’re just a few months shy of their 30th anniversary, and as in love as ever. I am so lucky to have such a wonderful relationship with my parents. They are definitely more than just parents, they’re my best friends too. They’ve also created such a wonderful example for Steve and me in our still relatively new marriage. I hope we’re still as sweet and in love after 30 years! These photos make my heart so happy. Love you guys.
Thanks to two of my lovely brides turned friends for pampering my beautiful momma and doing her hair and makeup for this session! Hair by Jamie Kimbel and Makeup by Hannah Martin of H&K Makeup Artistry.
We started their session off at the Irvine Nature Center in Owings Mills, Maryland! This is one of my favorite places for a fall session. It fit the bill perfectly. I love these colors! Aren’t they just the cutest?
I just love her happiness! All three of us were non-stop laughter and smiles the whole time!

After we finished up at Irvine, we headed back to our house for some photos by the bamboo! Earlier this year Steve and I had our photos made by Hoffer Photography at our home, and the bamboo shots were just gorgeous. My mom wanted some of those too! It really is an awesome backdrop!
And bonus! An updated family photo! :) The last picture I have of all four of us is from our wedding!
Love you guys so much! I hope you love them and appreciate these as much as I do. They bring me so much joy, it turns out this gift was as much for me as it was for you :)
