Most young girls know what it’s like to be in school and have a crush on an older popular boy. Kristina was a freshman, Mike was a senior. They never spoke or actually knew each other, but she thought he was cute and drew hearts around his picture in her yearbook-like young girls do. Fast forward 15 years, and Facebook recommended that they friend each other. She thought he looked handsome, and they had many mutual friends but she couldn’t figure out who he was. She pulled out her yearbook, and it was that same boy she liked in high school. After wishing him a happy birthday on Facebook, they started talking. Shortly afterward, they met and they hit it off right away. Three years later, they were married at Celebrations at the Bay in Pasadena, Maryland!
A few of my favorites from their wedding are on the blog today. Big thanks to my friend Jim Heine for being a ninja and helping me capture their big day!

Omg, You did an amazing job of capturing the “mood” of the day. There was so many dramatic variations happening in the sky from intricate cloud shapes to a double rainbow. It’s like you were shooting portraits inside of a landscape photo! Congrats to the couple, their wedding looks gorgeous!
