Alanna and Tom’s wedding celebration this past weekend was a magical day filled with fun, friends, family, and great food!

The Couple

“Our love story started in Baltimore, Maryland as we worked together at Fox 45 News. Our second date was two days before the world shut down due to the pandemic. So, we had a decision to make. Do we take the risk and see where this goes? Or, do we call it quits and go our separate ways? Well, I think you know what we chose.

“Tom loves his family, faith, career and golf. During the week, Tom works as an Emmy award-winning and Edward R. Murrow award-winning special projects photojournalist at WUSA9 in Washington, D.C. Before the sun rises, you will find him working a part-time job at Baltimore Country Club. Outside of work, Tom, Alanna and Mr. Mac like to take walks in their neighborhood, eat delicious Maryland seafood and snuggle on the couch.

“Alanna loves her family, career and dog son, Mac. She’s a journalism professor at University of Maryland’s Philip Merrill College of Journalism and a national and regional award-winning photojournalist. When she’s not teaching, she enjoys visiting wineries, Peloton rides and snuggling on the couch with Tom and Mac.

“Tom proposed in Baltimore during the Christmas Festival at the Inner Harbor! It was magical.”

The Wedding

Anyone who was on the East Coast this weekend knows that it was a rainy one thanks to Tropical Storm Ophelia. Because of that, Alanna and Tom’s wedding plans got shifted indoors. The good news is that Bowling Brook Mansion is BEAUTIFUL and we had so many wonderful photo ops inside! More importantly, it was a beautiful day celebrating an incredible couple. We had an absolute blast and I am so excited to share the highlights on the blog today!
