This past Saturday Crystal and Quinton got married in beautiful Havre de Grace, Maryland on a perfect fall day!
The Couple
From the bride: “We met through online dating. My sister, Wendy, made a dating profile of me against my will, lol. Quinton was the second person I matched with. Our first date was Dick’s Last Resort. Quinton was late to our second date, because of saving a bird from his sunporch. Since I am a big animal lover, I thought either this is the guy for me or he is full of shit. Turns out, he was an amazing guy. We’ve been together ever since.
“I was a waitress/bartender and he was in the Navy when we met. We were on opposite schedules, but always found time to spend together. We moved to Virginia together for me to go to veterinary school and bought a house together while living there. After I graduated, we moved out to California for my internship and now moved down to San Diego. Quinton has been super supportive of my career and made sure I remembered to eat while studying. We were out enjoying San Diego when we got engaged. We went to a pop-up art show, then enjoyed all the Comicon costumes and food in downtown San Diego. At sunset, we went to Sunset Cliffs to watch the sunset. On one of the cliffs, he got down on one knee and proposed.”
The Wedding
Saturday was an absolutely beautiful celebration of a wonderful couple. We started off the day at their respective AirBNBs for getting ready in Havre de Grace before heading over to the lighthouse for their first look and gorgeous waterfront portraits. Quinton and Crystal were married in the beautiful St. Patrick’s church before heading to the Vandiver Inn to celebrate with their friends and family! It was a lovely day, and I’m excited to share the highlights on the blog today!
